I am 5'6 and currently weigh 140lbs. My goal is to get down to 133-135lbs. I've been here before and for some reason I always get lazy for the last few pounds. I tell myself that 'this is good enough' despite the fact that I'm not really happy and would prefer to drop that last little bit of weight. So I'm making a bigger effort to reach my goal and just thought I would get the advice/experience of anyone who has achieved their goal or are in the same boat as me.

    Agreeing with Toad.

This thread will tell you all you need to know about diet breaks and refeeds. It's, uh, long, but all the immediately pertinent info is in the first post: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10604863/of-refeeds-and-diet-breaks#latest

heck yeah I got lazy too when it come to my last 5lbs, I suppose I didn't care enough about losing them to put in a more effort.. roll on a few years where I stayed around the same weight I decided I would make the effort (wanted to see that 9 stone/126lbs on the scales), started tightening my logging, weighed my food and within 8 weeks they were history. I'm small so 5lbs has made a huge difference to my frame, in fact people started asking me how much weight I'd lost because they felt I was 'fading away'! So far its been easy to keep to my newer lower goal range.
I think if you want it you'll make the effort to get there. Otherwise be happy with where you are now and maintain at that.

I'm also 5'6", lost 30 pounds and discovered that 135-140 pounds is just perfect for me. I actually felt more motivated at the end, since the goal weight was so tantalizingly close. Resume doing what was working for you! You're almost there!
