Another gal trying to get fit after 50 here. Anyone else in the DFW area?

Getting fit is something I always promised myself I'd do. I'm shooting to lose 33 pds and get firm.
I did get my myfitnesspal account a while back and never used it. Just this week I have finally clicked in and saw the power it offered. The ability to see where I can cut carbs has been so useful.
Good luck to all!

Hi, I'm also over 50, but I have lot more to lose. I have been doing workouts from bodyfit.com to build up my strength for the past 9 weeks, along with calorie counting. So far so good. I feel a lot stronger lately. Getting fit at any age is better late than never. Good luck1

Welcome back. I’m 57 and got serious about 6 years ago. You can do this too.
About the DFW area. I have an office in Grapevine. Get there about once a month.
Feel free to add me.1 -
I am 46 and try to burn 1000 calories a day, all outside on my own, no matter what the temperature, anyone can add me.2

Welcome back!
Be consistent logging your meals, move a bit more and bit by bit you will lose those 33lbs. It takes 21 days to form habits but I heard recently it actually takes closer to 100 days to make that habit long lasting. So commit to logging for next 3 months without fail and I feel sure you will be delighted with your progress.
Wishing you all the best.1
