Goal settings

So I've been stuck for several months and months bouncing between 231 and 235. So back in November I adjusted my settings when I was down to 231.50 and given 1530 cal level. So now I am stuck at 237. So I just added this new weight amount and given a change of 1560 which is more than before by 30. My target has always been set at 1.5 loss per week. So wonder why I am allowed more calories than before when my weight went up some. Doesn't it seem my calories should be lower rather than higher to start losing weight again. I originally started May 2016 at 270 and lost down to 231 within six months then plateaued most of last year it seems staying around 230 - 235...

You need more calories to run your body. But if you haven’t been losing, you’re eating more than you think.1

Larger bodies require more calories to fuel them. Even when losing weight, you must adequately fuel your body.1

Are you sure your Diet/Fitness profile is setup properly? For example the Normal Daily Activities, what is that set at?0

Whatever is going on with the app goal change, you really should be losing weight at 1500-1600 calories if you weigh 237 pounds. I would guess that you were eating a lot more than you thought when you lost your first 40 pounds, and now because you're smaller you're eating at maintenance. It's not a big deal, but it is pretty common. There's a lot of helpful stuff in the stickies on accurate counting, starting with http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1234699/logging-accurately-step-by-step-guide/p1 and http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10012907/logging-accuracy-consistency-and-youre-probably-eating-more-than-you-think/p1.
ETA: You don't say your age and height, but assuming by your picture that you're male and going with some random average numbers (45 y/o and 5'9") and modest physical activity, the USDA's body weight planner suggests that you would maintain your current weight by eating 3125 calories a day. I know that seems a lot to be off, but it really isn't that uncommon.0 -
Also, make sure you weigh food, many labels are not correct with amounts for calories. Also, are you exercising and burning 500 calories, and then adding 500 calories to your day? Be careful with remaining calories, because they add those to your total.0
