So I was thinking of trying the no sugar, no junk for 21 days deal. I know I can have fruit as a snack but what else? Hummus and pretzels. I'm glad I like hummus. Greek yogurt. Should I just buy a few rotisserie chickens and just stick to that? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of deal is that? Fruit has sugar. How do you define junk? You can eat anything, and the varied the better.

To me junk would be like eating Oreos, drinking soda. I know fruit has sugar but it is not something that is processed.

    Pretzels and hummus are processed?

    Maybe OP makes them herself?

maybe these ideas could work for your 21 day challenge: homemade trail mix (nuts, dried fruit, unsweetened coconut, etc), seaweed snacks, veggies and hummus, sugar snap peas, edamame, brown rice cakes w/peanut butter, crackers, cucumbers/jicama with lemon, salt, chili powder, avocado, broiled grapefruit

Do you watch your macros? If so, are there macros you need more? E.g. My meals tend to be low fat so I depend on high fat snacks like nuts & cheese. Also fat bombs...mmmmm.

Some healthy options that are fairly low-calorie (all under 100 calories):

    Boiled egg
    Celery with laughing cow cheese
    Low fat cheese stick
    2% cottage cheese with tomato
Tuna on rice cake or crackers
Hummus and baby carrots, celery or cucumber slices (Prob lower calories with the veggies than pretzels)
Air-popped popcorn with a tiny bit of butter and salt
    Homemade kale chips
Half an apple with small amount of peanut or almond butter

Not sure if you are watching sugar generally or just added sugar or just sweets generally, but watch the hummus and pretzels, both of which may have added sugar. Also snack choices will depend on what kind of calorie goals you have.

Assuming you are just watching sweets:

    Carrots/celery with hummus/ranch/feta cucumber dip (~100 cals)
Pita chips or pretzels with hummus/salsa/Laughing Cow cheese (~150 cals)
Plain yogurt with fruit (~150 cals)
    Hard boiled egg (~70 cals)
Popcorn (100 cals or less depending)
    String cheese (~70 cals)
Jerky (~150 cals) - watch for lots of added sugar if you are watching sugars
    Nuts (~200 cals)
