Why? Smoothies have calories too, often a substantial amount, and personally I don't find drinking satisfies or satiates me. Why not just eat your food?

I love my smoothies!! Great way to get in fruits & veggies that I otherwise just wouldn’t eat. I’d recommend to make them in batches, about 3-4 at a time in the blender, freeze the extras in mason jars, and you always have a supply of healthy ready meals at your finger tips :-)

My breakfasts most mornings is spinach, banana, chia seed, beetroot powder, ginger root, apple cider vinegar and coconut water.

I like smoothies for breakfast sometimes, and find them filling, but many do not. You should experiment to see if you do. I would get bored with smoothies twice a day, and even with just breakfast I tend to want a break.

Try out different recipes and see what you enjoy. Mine are more veg with just a little fruit, usually protein powder and some homemade cashew milk also (homemade cashew milk has cashews in it, so is not super low cal and low fat like store-bought nut milks, and it adds fat -- not an issue when you make it with avocado, but smoothies can be lower fat than I like for breakfast). One mix I like is avocado, a cucumber, spinach or kale, and strawberries, plus the cashew milk and some protein powder and water (just water or some other milk would work too). Mint is good with it if you have some.

You'll probably want to try different combinations.

I get most of my vegetables in other forms (and would recommend that), but sometimes I prefer to drink rather than eat in the morning.

I was going to say "don't do it" and "don't go on a diet", but I think my suggestions will be
    - make sure you get in sufficient nutrition every day
    - use recipes you like

You are the only one who'll know if it's sustainable or not.
