So I’m approaching my 10th week in my medi weightloss program and i am 5 lbs away from my goal. But, i want to continue to lose more and i am scared that if i start working out i will put on weight ( muscle) what type of work outs should i start with?

I'm confused.. you don't want to gain muscle or you don't want to gain fat? Gaining muscle is awesome and don't worry you won't gain a significant amount by accident.

If you do gain a little bit of water weight it will be temporary and is only happening as the muscles are holding on to water for repair.

Gaining muscle for women is not easy (as in maybe 1 pound per month under ideal conditions, losing weight is not an ideal condition). If you gain weight when you start working out it's just water to repair the damage. If you haven't exercised in a while just start with something you are comfortable doing. If you would like to start lifting weights to gain a toned look there's a bunch here: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10332083/which-lifting-program-is-the-best-for-you/p1
