Chicken chili

I am going to make this chicken chili recipe for supper tonight:

http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/super-easy-chicken-chili/Detail.aspx

However, I don't buy precooked roasted chickens, so i want to use boneless skinless chicken breasts instead, and cook them with an onion/garlic mixture and bit of olive oil before i add the rest of the ingredients. Will also use lowfat cheese to top, and low fat sour cream.

Does anyone know about how many chicken breasts would equal 1 whole roasted chicken in terms of the amount of meat?

Thanks.

Obviously, the calories are going to be different with all white meat - and hopefully you will use skinless and boneless. I would use about 4 - 6 (depending on size) to equal approximately the same volume of meat. Good luck and YUMMO!

yep- all i buy is skinless, boneless chicken breasts :) i can't stand the taste of chicken skin.

i will calculate the calories again after because i always add extra things to recipes (more veggies etc) :)

    thanks!
