Searching food database

There has absolutely got to be a way to search through the database for a food without having to go through your diary. I have been searching all around and can’t seem to find a way just to browse through the database searching for certain things. Am I missing something?

    You can from the webpage. I've never tried to via the app.

    On the mobile apps, you have to start the search within the Diary in a meal slot.

    On the web version, navigate to FOOD > Database. You can browse the database from there. Although you can find an item this way, you won't be able to add any items you find this way to your Diary.
