A perk to being short, it takes less of a loss for it to be noticeable on us. 10lbs on someone 5'7 might not make much of a difference but it does on us!2

Not me I lost 30 lbs and no one noticed I didn't even have to buy new clothes. I have alot to lose tho maybe when I start getting closer to a healthy weight it will be more noticeable.3 -

Hi I’m 5’2 179 as of this morning. I gained 7lbs last week. I have hypothyroidism, PCOS, prediabetic, and history of an eating disorder. I struggle everyday with food. I want to lose about 50lbs and have a better relationship with food. Im glad to find this post and others who have similar issues.1

4'11"! I'm 29, I have two kids, and I live in Canada. I'm not great with logging on MFP, but I'm getting there!

5'2"--Started my fitness journey at 230 before joining My Fitness Pal. I'm down to 196.8 but still would like to lose about 70 more lbs. Right now I'm really looking forward to getting to around 170 so that I can jump on my kids trampoline in the back yard. Goals are awesome!! I kind of let myself go for a while having 3 kids and now I'm ready to get back into the shape I was in before kids. I want to be able to run long distances again and play ultimate Frisbee again!!2

1200 calories a day is not enough, especially if you're active. What I do is set my activity level to sedentary on MFP...then I eat about half of my exercise calories. I walk 12-15k steps a day, do high intensity cardio 3 times a week and strength training twice a week (i probably should increase this to 3x a week but find it hard to find the motivation on the weekend to get moving) I eat about 1500-1700 calories a day and am losing about .5-1lb a week.

I’m 5” 1’ I started probably around 225 and this morning I weighed 149.6 technically in the 140s. Yayy! My orginal goal was 150 but now my goal is 130-120 I’ll see when I get there. So 20-30 more pounds to go.4

I am exactly 5 feet. I am just about to turn 49. 4 years ago I started at 162 and got down to 124. I think I was losing too aggressively and fainted and broke my jaw. After I could eat real food again I quit logging. January 1st of this year I got back into a healthy lifestyle. I weighed 149. I walk 5 miles a day and eat between 1100 and 1400 calories a day.I am currently 122 pounds. I have another 5 to 10 pounds to go.3

Jumping in here too. I'm 5'2 and 238lbs/108kg and have another 60lbs or so to lose. Have lost 99lbs so far. Just made my first forum post today and am now looking for likeminded people to help with motivation and accountability, to chat with and share daily logs/updates.
