Now what? Advice needed!

Alright MFP peeps, I forgot to eat today. It is a common issue, one I am working on, but I have eaten 279 calories. Should I just have a good healthy dinner and don't stress being way under calorie, or should I try to get in my MFP recommended 1840 calories?

Have s good healthy dinner, it does not need to be right up to your goal, but if you can get it to 1200 calories for the day that would be good. Try not to keep under the recommended level.5

One day under 1200 isn't going to make your hair fall out.

Eat a decent meal tonight, as long as it's not a regular occurence it shouldn't do you any harm. If you're in the habit of forgetting set yourself some reminders on your phone.

Yeah I wouldn't stress too much Just have a nice big healthy meal and carry on tomorrow.1

MFP is giving you what they think is the ideal. I would say eat a good healthy meal tonight and move forward. Take one day at a time, some days you will be ever, some days you will be under. The idea is to try to stay consistent, but hiccups happen.2

Maybe that's your favorite dinner, but if you have the extra calories, why not indulge in something you might not otherwise get to have?4 -
if this is a common problem for you, may i suggest looking into intermittent fasting? prolly one meal a day or alternate day fasting. maybe you can figure out how to work this in your favor.1

Lol can I borrow your calories please? I want a double cheeseburger with bacon, a large poutine with quality gravy, and a chocolate milkshake. That's what I would do if I had the calories you have to play with. Sadly I have 400 calories to play with so I am having brown rice with corn, a chicken breast, and some veggies.4
