Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself to the community. I also wanted to let people that if there's anything your finding difficult to understand fitness wise, ask away and I'll try my best to answer or point you in the right direction. It will be good for me to practice applying my studies so feel free to pick my brain either by adding me or commenting here.
I'm also, plant-based. I don't eat meat which comes with its own nutritional challenges. I love to hear from some others who're getting results with kind of diet.
Anyhow, hope you all have a great day.
Best wishes

Hello, I will send you a message, I would love to be friends. What a wonderful study to be in. Good for you. I dabble in a lot of reading on health and nutrition, muscle movements are a little tricky. I will surely find a few questions for you.1

Awesome, then friends we shall be
Thanks, i really enjoy it, a great challenge. Tbh, if you have the right books, you can read yourself to a degree level, University just makes you do it. lol
Biomechanics, physiology muscle insertions and origins, muscle movements patterns are for wizards, ha. Of which I am not either but it's fun to learn about.
Great, any questions, you know where I am.0 -

Hey by fatigue I'm guessing you mean delayed onset muscle soreness. The main thing that helps this is getting plenty of proteins (amino acids) that help with the repair process of muscle. A vegan diet makes it hard to get enough protein. I know some vegetables are relatively high in protein such as kale, brocolli and beans. But it's still hard to get enough , they say a minimum of 1g of protein per kg of body weight when your trying to build muscle . And stretching after excercise helps to reduce fatigue and muscle soreness. Especially if you do developmental stretches. Which is just holding the stretch for 15seconds and then stetching further and holding it for another 15. I suggest googling some vegan foods that are high in protein to develop some ideas and see what you like and try and include them in your diet to get enough protein to repair your muscle1 -

Hey. Getting conflicting advice from friends/family so a pro opinion could help. I’m 5’9 and currently weigh 10 stone 13 lb (153 pounds) and have managed to cut my diet down to roughly 900/1000 calories a day with 40 mins of exercise. I feel a difference but for sure could do more in your opinion how low could my calorie intake go before it becomes an issue? I’m not concerned with nutrition etc my sole concern is weight loss. Thankyou in advance0
