INCREASE BF% BUT GETTING STRONGER?

HI ALL! I'm doing P90X right now. I've done through a few Beachbody programs since April. I've gained about 4-5 pounds since (I was anorexic for a while before the program). I'm now 5'4" and 114 pounds. Although I feel much stronger, can do more and look more toned, my body fat percentage has increased (about 1-2%). On a handheld it's 15% and on a scale it's 19% (go figure with the discrepancy). I also eat using the 21 Day Fix meal plan (Plan
and I follow it pretty closely. Can anyone tell me why this all is? It's very discouraging.

It is really difficult to get an accurate handle on your BF%. It will most likely be different from one method to another. I'd say don't worry about it. Judge your progress by the scale, body measurements, the eyeball test (how do you look), and your performance in your workouts.2

I wouldn't trust the accuracy of the scales or handheld devices when determining your bf%. That said, when you gain weight, you will gain fat, but it doesn't sound like that's a bad thing in your situation? You can't just gain muscle unfortunately!7
