Started my health journey in April of 2017. Did an amazing job and lost 35 pounds really fast. One thing led to another and December arrives and I was right back where I started. This time I really want to stick with it and could use some tips about keeping motivated.

My first question would be: Why did you loose motivation and what made you go back?
It may well be that with going fast your diet was very restrictive and that this made it harder to keep up the loss. If that is the case then my suggestion would be to not try to go fast or aggressive Set a loss goal at half the previous time. It will take longer but may be drier to keep up.
Another would be to incorporate some maintenance time. For me that always has been the summer holiday. I then went into maintenance, not going overboard at all but allowing some extra's It tight me how to maintain what my boundaries were.
Reference: Been here 4 years took me 3,5 years to get to goal from obese to BMI 22 and very fit. In maintenance 6 months0 -
Fast weight loss is unsustainable. You need time to learn how to eat at a lower calorie intake. If one loses 20 lbs. In two months and that's all they need to lose, the tendency is to just go back to eating the same calories before weight loss and weight comes back. If you lost muscle that does not help either.0
