A healthy brunch burger

Hi guys! I was craving a brunch burger, but not the calories. Here's the alternative: a brunch turkey burger. You're going to want to start out by lining your pan with coconut oil, and a high flame. I highly recommend Trader Joe's turkey burgers (180 calories). Cook your burger on the stove, until it is brown on both sides. Cover the burger in cheddar cheese (1/4th cup) and cover the pan while cooking your egg. I highly recommend cooking your egg sunny side up and adding garlic and onion powder. After cooking your egg, add the remaining cheese and let it cool because it will be VERY hot. As for the bun, use a whole what bun (160 calories) or two pieces of wheat bread. Put the burger on the bottom, top it with the egg and add a little hot sauce. This is 522 calories and will keep you full until dinner!

Sounds tasty. Wish it would actually keep me full for 6 hours though...

Yeah, sadly I think that's too many calories for lunch for me, and it wouldn't keep me full for long enough! I do love bread, but it makes me crave more bread and doesn't satisfy me.

It does sound good though... I might try something similar without the bun, and a big pile of stir-fried veggies instead.
