My cat ate my goldfish. It was in a bubblegum machine aquarium. I stepped on its decapitated head and that’s how I found out.1

100 Gallon with a sump. Have had it for 1 year so far
No Corals yet
It takes a huge amount of patience and work to keep it clean and healthy. If you dont have the time or patience then dont do it.

I had an aquarium for a while...just like a regular fresh water one. Met wife, she decided (this is before marriage) to buy a bunch of crabs and put in there.
They eventually ate all the fish, then each other...and then the last few started escaping. Sometimes we would find them and sometimes not. I legit wonder where some of those crabs went off to on certain days.
She fell asleep one time and had a dream about the crabs biting her and woke up screaming. I still laugh about that.
It was a real shame because some of those fish had survived this long ice storm where we had no power for a week.
At their bachelorette party one of them knocked over the aquarium and then we decided we just weren't ready for the responsibility.
* during that ice storm I knew a guy with some awesome salt-water fish, all kinds of things. He was heating up water bottles and putting those in the tank trying to keep it all going and it did work.
I can see how people really get into them. They are really beautiful. Expensive hobby and time consuming, but very pretty. Good hobbies are often like that.
I tried to keep a little fish tank in my water dragons cage and they ate them too!
Its not funny but I'm still laughing over your wife's dream. Id die lol.0 -

Creepy how? Does he give you the evil eye?
If he escapes and you woke up with him on your ceiling above you I could see how that would get real creepy.
He has bug eyes and he just sits on the side of the glass like this all the time staring. Its awful.
I had an iguana for awhile that would escape. He never ended up on my ceiling but he was spastastic and would come racing across my feet unexpectedly.1 -
