Calorie Deficit / Exercise

Hi there,
I am on a calorie deficit diet, reduced from 1,800 to 1,200 per day (properly calculated)
If I earn extra calories through exercise, can I eat these calories and still lose weight or should I bank the extra calories and not use them?

@DeborahD1971 yes you can! That's what I do. I calculated my TDEE, considering zero exercise and a sedentary lifestyle. And then, I aim to eat only that which I can burn off, so that my net intake is still at the deficit level I want. e.g. if 1200kcal gives u a deficit that you want, feel free to eat 1500kcal as long as you are burning that extra 300kcal in a measurable manner. It worked for me (lost 103lb in 11 months).1
