How many calories to a meal?

Hi everyone! I was wondering which meal I should have my biggest calorie intake at or if I should try and keep them all about same amount of calories. For some reason I have always thought it's best to eat my heaviest meal for breakfast and eat progressively less calories as the day goes on with my smallest meal of the day being diner I am not sure why I think this is best and would love to know what you all think! I am maintaining my weight at eating 2000 calories a day and am not looking to eat more or less just to optimize how my body burns the calories by eating them at the best times of day:)
Thanks
Thanks

Timing is only important if you work out, because you need to make sure you have enough energy for it. If you feel particularly hungry at a certain time of the day, it's a good idea to have a bigger meal then. Otherwise do whatever you're most comfortable with.0
