USN Protein Bars

I'm trying hard to cut down my carbs and someone suggested to try protein bars in the morning instead of my normal wholemeal toast. is this an good alternative or is this only ok if you are actively burning calories?

    You can eat anything you want. No foods are in themselves good or bad. You are burning calories 24/7, regardless of being active. What's important is that you know why you're cutting down on carbs. And how much are your cutting?
