Pre workout mix & whey protein for women suggestions

I’ve tried a few of each and both have been so gross. Also the pre workout made my heart beat so fast I thought I was going to pass out!
One of the grosser pre workouts I had was watermelon and it tasted
Like I was drinking a sour jolly rancher.
I also need a tasty vanilla whey for recipes. I had body tech chocolate and it’s not the best, for sure.

1st, you don't need a preworkout. Drink a little coffee. Have a little carbs and protein and you are good to go. Preworkouts are just a marketing gimmick none have been proven to have any enhanced effect. They are mostly caffeine.

2nd, you don't need a whey for women. All those are is the same product put in a pink container and sold for a premium. Any reputable whey will do. It is a matter of preference. Some good brands are Gaspari, Optimum Nutrition and my favorite for quality, cost and flavor, MyProtein.

Don't make this more complicated than it needs to be.

If actually can’t stand coffee. Any other ideas?
    Thanks for the response

DM- omg- you have gorgeous eyes!! But you don’t really need a pre-workout (what type of workouts are you doing?),but I like Quest unflavored protein powder (easy to use for protein waffles, too). No sugar, so it tastes great to me when I make a smoothie with fruit, otherwise need to add sweetener for drinking. It has a mild protein taste, not bad compared to others.
Just try to eat a banged diet and something lightly carby an hour or so before a hard workout is usually ok for me, ymmv.

    1. Don't pay extra for a pink label
    2. Go to Examine.com to determine what you want from your Preworkout
    3. Most people don't need a preworkout, and caffeine and some gummie bears or a PB sandwich are pretty much what you need until you start looking at stuff like Creatine, Citrulline, Beta Alanine, etc.

A bottle of caffeine pills are about $3 at Walmart....if you're caffeine sensitive, start out breaking them in half.

I'm a huge Isopure fan...I regularly use Whey Isolate in baking and shakes, because I'm sensitive to sucralose. Hubby uses their low carb line, which he likes....and he's picky in the protein powder department.

If you think it was the caffeine in your preworkout that made your heart beat too fast, check how many mg it is before you buy your caffeine pills. I take scoops of pwo with 200mg of caffeine, so I know I can handle a 200mg caffeine pill.

I always recommend PEScience protein powder. They're a whey/casein blend but the flavors are amazing.

What is pwo? I looked up PEScience and it got great reviews! I didn’t know they had a whey + casein mix... that sounds pretty good, thanks!

I’m about to google isopure. I’m not sure what sucrose is, but I might look into it. Thank you for the info!

I think the one I had did work well, it was like C4 by cellucor. It gave me energy like easy but like I said it made my heart feel funny like I was gonna get woozy. I might just keep on without one or try something else! Thanks for your info!

Take a 200mg caffeine pilll. It’s the exact same as a pre workout, just without the added placebos.

I prefer Canadian protein. I buy their whey concentrate. But I also know the differences between different forms of whey.

Keep it simple. Their is no special workout supplement that is gender specific. Hell. Bodybuilders take estrogen sometimes.
