I usually use my iPhone but my new one doesn’t fit in my pockets. So it usually stays on my desk or in my car and logs only 1-200 steps a day despite walking more than that.

If you just want steps and nothing else, an inexpensive pedometer should do the trick or a fitness tracker like FitBit or Garmin if you want a fancier device.2

Fitbit Zip is only $59. Super affordable, gives you the social aspect of tracking steps via the fitbit app, and it's easy to clip on your waist band.0

There are very cheap pedometers. I'd look in amazon. You can get one for under £10.0
