No idea!

I'm really bad with nutrition! I live with my mum and dad and they are old school so cook casseroles and pies etc. (Theres peas and carrots in it though right?!) I am always below my calorie intake so know its not affecting weight loss but am I still getting what I need or do I need to cook my own meals? Chicken, rice and brocolli is just so boring next to one of my mums strews!! Any help or advice for this struggling newbie would be hugely appreciated! Thanks!

Nothing wrong with casseroles if that's what you enjoy and it fits your goals. If you are worried about getting enough vegetables you could add a small salad to dinner, or ask if mum could add more vegetables to the casseroles. Or just take a multivitamin.

Rediscovering old school cooking and eating was actually what saved me from malnutrition and a hopeless relationship with food. Sounds like your parents have their things down. Food is supposed to be enjoyed.0
