86 lbs to lose

I gained exactly 100 lbs in the last 10 years. Due to various stresses. I used to go to the gym religiously and quit. Stupid.
Now back in the saddle. The first step has been cutting out all the evil foods. You know the list. The second step is 1-hour exercise daily, 5-6 times per week. The goal is 600 calories in exercise and another 600 reduced via evil foods.
I am male, 6'3, 286 lbs, forty-four. My goal is 200 lbs, though I don't have a concrete date set. I would be delighted with some visible results by the spring, maybe 230 lbs by July 4th, 200 by August or September. If I hit 186 lbs by New Year, that would mean 100 lbs loss. But I don't expect 186. I would be supremely happy with 200 and for that matter, pretty happy with 230lbs, the latter would mean 50 lbs loss.
Consistency is the key. No emotional eating is another key. And that has been a huge problem in recent years. I am learning to detach myself from emotional eating. It does absolutely no good.
I don't really destroy myself in the gym but my daily goal is 3.6 miles (either run/walked - mostly walked) which translates to about 600 calories. I also do light weight lifting, not sure what that amounts to. I may up that to 4 or 5 miles when I lose significant weight and it's much simpler, thus far moving 286 lbs at any speed is a serious accomplishment.
