No gif but the two most traumatizingly sad books I read as a child were Where the Red Fern Grows and Bridge to Terabithia. I have never read them again in over 30 years. Still not over it.
I cried reading Where the Red Fern Grows too. Big fat tears. I’m not a crier either and I don’t particularly like dogs, but I cried.
I cried reading the Nicholas Sparks book A Walk to Remember.

I had been saving it for @LittleHearseDriver and @MeeseeksAndDestroy, but I found out they aren't even real! I'd much rather have a real flesh and blood garden gnome. Whoever they got to play both of them though, that casting is on point. On. Point. :blushing:
