I would use spices fresh as possible one of my favorites and I use often many dif blends
tiny bit of nutmeg, fresh ground cinnamon, ground ginger and a allspice ( go easy on allspice and or use clove )
another way to go might be fresh grated ginger ( I love ginger! )
half a can of pumpkin or you can make it from scratch its ez either way and add in blend of pumpkin pie spices ( cinnamon and ginger )
also pure real vanilla is good in pancakes and the real thing is very complex
how about chai spiced pancakes - 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom, healthy pinch of ground cloves, scant 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/8 teaspoon crushed black peppercorns, and 1/2 cup brewed black chai tea.
can also flavor them with coconut or banana or even fresh fruits and pure real vanilla to mellow out the flavors0 -
Hey girl!
I mix my own protein pancakes. I use 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup protein powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 3/4 cup Greek yogurt and one egg white. Combine the dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately before combining them together, makes six pancakes at roughly 315 cals for the whole batch.
Does not taste eggy0 -

mixing strained yogurt in sounds like a great idea, I will have to try that in place of buttermilk.

I bought some whey protein pancake mix from protein works" a cople of weeks ago! As much as I love that its a pre made pancake mix it does taste really eggy!
Can anyone suggest something that i can put in to to make it taste less eggy?

Topping ideas:

Spray butter has zero carbs ( i can't believe its not butter)
Roll meat in them and eatem
