Needing motivation

Hello. My name is Rhonda. I am a 45 year old night shift worker that has made the decision to do something to lose weight. I am starting high protein/low carb diet in the morning. I think this is similar to the keto diet plan. I have not been very successful with most diets I've tried so I am praying this is better. I have considered weight loss surgery but really want to be able to say I did it on my own. If anyone has tried this type of diet....please give me what tips you have learned along the way. I would love to lose about 100 pounds. My bf and I are going on a cruise sept 1 and I would love to be able to buy some cute clothes for that and not worry about how many chins I will have in pictures.

I'm not familiar with the diet but I hope you'll allow me to give some advice anyway. Don't think of it as a 'diet', think of it as a lifestyle change. It's not a temporary thing. You want to lose the weight and keep it off. That sort of thinking is what has helped me lose weight.
And don't worry about past failed attempts. I think everyone is going to stumble and fail at least once or twice before they finally start to succeed. (It took me multiple attempts.) After you stumble just dust yourself on and say 'the next meal will be much healthier!'.
Good luck!0
