Calorie Counting Fun?

Call me crazy, but I just spent the last week counting every calorie of every little bitty thing that went inside my body....down to the last packet of splenda. First of all, I am truly amazed how many calories are in foods that I was previously eating without even thinking about, because I thought they were healthy so if a little was good, a lot must be even better, right? Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed counting calories. I think for the first time in years I am really holding myself accountable for every little thing I consume. And I lost at least a pound this week, so that's promising. I plan on keeping this going for as long as necessary.

I am glad you are finding the app useful. Just keep in mind there is a healthy balance between accuracy and not obsessing, if you find yourself getting too wrapped into counting make sure you to take a step back.

its an eye opener isnt it. I am amazed how much it all adds up .... And understand why I havent been loosing weight, All those extras you eat whilst making the kids dinner or having a snack when you arnt even hungry and BOOM thats your 500cal a day deficit gone.
my excess weekend eating was completely undoing the work I was doing through the week
And portion sizes .... turns out 200cal of Fries isnt actually an entire plate0
