Is the big digital scale more accurate or analog ?

So i weigh in the hospital at the digital machine and analog machine aswell.
Both always tell different number.
Which do you think more accurate ?

yup .. consistancy is the key. Weight is just an arbitary number and people choose a number to be based on pretty much nothing. I chose 70

When it reaches 70, I'll decide another number. Its just for tracking so stick to the same scale each time

Why do you care? Are you trying to hit a specific weight for a competition?

Your weight can fluctuate a ton throughout the day just by various factors.

Take the average of both and that's probably a good judge. But yes, use the same scale to identify trends. I use an analog scale at home. I get different weights at the doctors office. It just is what it is.

I think the brand/quality and age might effect the accuracy of either of them. Not enough information on those specific scales to make that kind of determination. You didn't say how far apart the numbers are. 3-5 lbs? 10-20 lbs?

Just pick one as your "official" one. Use both for fun if you like. Note upward and downward trends - Both should show those. ;)
