Hey everyone - chances are I won't be getting to the gym today. With that in mind I'm going to take my 25lb child out for a walk/jog in the jogging stroller instead. Now, seeing as I will be pushing the stoller with my daughter in it, does any of that count as strength training or is it strictly cardio? Thanks!

It's cardio. Even when I'm doing 10 min miles and taking giant hills with my 3.5 y/o it's still cardio. It's great excercise, really hard and you should totally do it, but it's cardio. Do some body weight strength training at home before or after. I use the You Are Your Own Gym app, no need for equipment or a gym. The app is 4 dollars, but you could always use the bodyweight strength training program from nerdfitness.com.0
