Easy answer is: whatever you want.
Losing is a matter of eating less, not necessarily specific foods. A variety of fruits, vegs, dairy and meat will help you ensure you're hitting all your needs. Get a food scale and get into the habit of weighing everything; if it helps to make it easier, weigh and portion out all/most of your week's meals and snacks as you can to make it easier. When you cook something, weigh your ingredients and use the Recipe builder. Pay attention to labels, and double check any database entries with what's on the label to ensure accuracy. I'm personally fond of making large meals that I can portion and freeze so I can grab and go later.7 -
Buy a food scale. Take some time to use it for everything and make sure you have a handle on what a portion really looks like. Logging accurately is your best bet. Learn as you go by looking over your food log and seeing what foods worked and what didn't and you'll figure it out.
You can eat whatever you want. I have always found making sure I have protein (like chicken, shrimp, tuna, greek yogurt, string cheese, beans) and veggies on hand and ready to go really helped me. But I also ate icecream, pizza, and chocolate along the way in moderation when I could fit it in.2 -
Great answers above!1

Eating is a challenge. I love food so much. I have been doing Whole 30 and I feel amazing. Morning I try and eat high fiber, low carbs. Lunch and dinner are tons of lean protein and again low carbs. I stay away from added sugar and sweeteners. Also avoid fried and processed foods.3

Weigh and log everything for a few days. Then look back over your list and find places to cut back on foods that aren't delicious, satisfying or useful. See where you can shrink portions without feeling deprived, or find good substitutes that will fo what you need with fewer calories.1

Great advice for you too, in this thread. Wish you the best.2 -
Eat food you like with treats in moderation so that your overall day/week reaches your calorie allowance.
There is no specific way of eating that will cause weight loss it's about the calorie deficit, but a balanced diet is good for health and helping you to feel fuller whilst you're at it.
I have still had pizza nights, daily chocolate and other stuff along the way whilst I've been losing, I just tend to eat less of them than I used to and make an effort to ensure I am getting enough protein & fat to fuel my days,1
