Activity Level...not sure where I should be

To start off with, I work a desk job during the day. I have two 15 min. breaks in which I walk around the building. After work, I have two kids to chase around. I go to the gym every night that I can ( usually 5 days a week ). I alternate days between cardio for about 45 mins and the machines on the other days.
I am reading up on a training program that I plan on starting soon. The book is The New Rules of Lifting for Women.
My goals are to get stronger, build muscle and hopefully still lose a couple of pounds. I am 22 pounds from my goal weight. So, what I am asking is.....I would still like to eat back my calories (the MFP method). What should my activity level be if I still want to lose about a pound a week?

I would choose sedentary or at most lightly active and then log your exercise daily.0

I saw this before. This is one where you do NOT eat back your calories, right?0 -

Correct. It's easier for a lot of people because you are not constantly guessing how many you should eat each day. Everyone has a preference so it's up to you. Just make sure you are eating back your calories if MFP gives you around 1200. I'm not too familiar how MFP works with the activity levels since I use the TDEE method.0
