I'm new so I'm not sure how to go about this or what I should say so, sorry if I rambke on too long! My fiance and I got engaged on New year's Eve and it gave me a huge push in to the direction I want to go and how I want view and see myself and feel happy about it all by the time your wedding rolls around.
I started working at a desk job which is much less active than my other jobs have been and I have made plenty of excuses about exercise and trying to put it off. This asle let me continue my poor eating and snskcing habits but it looks like they're really having an effect on my body and emotions and last few months and I have gaind 20 pounds. I also have lost much of my muscle mass from the long hours sitting still my desk. The engagement gave me the motivation I need to look and feel good about myself and start using healthier alternatives in life. It's comforting and inspiring to see so many others working hard on their goals.
Thank you!

Welcome to MFP!
Since you mentioned losing muscle mass check out the gaining weight and body building forums and consider getting started on a beginner lifting program.
