What are your most helpful and most used health/fitness/food apps?
I use MFP, and Fitbit most.
I'm looking for apps that might facilitate Biggest Loser competitions, and Step competitions between people with different types of step trackers (not just Fitbit).

Stepbet & DietBet allow for competition between different tracker users, not sure how it works when you set up your own challenge but the public one require payment in ($20/$40 normally and then the pot is split between the winners less the app's fee)

I'm not a fan of Biggest Loser type challenges, because fast weight loss is usually not a great idea.
But I'd certainly recommend an app that encourages people to be active and makes it fun.
Strava is my favourite. Excellent data/statistics, plus a great social platform for support and inspiration. You can join or start a club for your friends, too. Works with many different fitness trackers, or you can use the app direct on your phone.
Garmin Connect (if you have a Garmin device) is also fun.
I also use Runtastic, but not as much as the others, though I have friends who love it.
MapMyWalk, MapMyRun, or MapMyFitness are good too.0 -
Garmin (for fitness track)
Happy Scale (weight trending)
JEFIT (weight lifting tracking)
Cody App (I have lots of yoga classes in there, they’ve now gone to a subscription service—they have tons of fitness classes)

Outside of MFP and the Apple suite (Health, Activity, Watch) I use Waterminder to bug me to drink up, and I have quite a few others that are used infrequently. Clue (period tracker), Activity ++, Sleep++, CaliCalo, Zones, the Fitbit app because I still use the Aria scale, Cardiogram and a programmable interval timer.0

Spark People is my go to, it's where I do all my tracking, and I've been in one of the challenge groups for quite some time (different teams for different needs, ours is at or close to goal with more of a maintenance focus).
I prefer the forums here at MFP.
I use the Polar Beat and Flow apps with my HRM, but that's mostly just for more accurate tracking of my actually burn and fitness levels.0
