Trying to loose weight

Hello I’m new to this and recently I’ve been drinking slim fast to see if it would help me actually loose weight. Any suggestions on this ? Also anyone know of good recipes?

    Just eat healthy in my opinion. Watch your portions. I can't vouch for slim fast though

    I would imagine those types of shakes and things work in the short term, but they aren't sustainable in the long term, and you aren't learning anything about how to live a healthy lifestyle, so you are likely to regain as soon as you stop drinking then. There are healthy recipes all over the internet - maybe google "healthy recipe" for some of your current favourite meals, and start tracking .Good luck :)

    You lose weight when you eat less, and that's something you do, not try. Nothing can help you lose weight. You can eat and drink anything you want and lose weight. You just have to take in fewer calories than you burn. MFP has given you a calorie target to hit. If you log your food, hit your calorie target, for real and every day, you lose weight.

    Good recipes is for food you like. I don't know what you like. Google meals you want to eat and cook.

    throw it away and eat real food. learn how to weigh and log your food properly.

    The key to weight loss is calories in vs calories out, nothing more. Of course you'll look and feel better and be more full eating healthier, more whole foods.

    Bottom line: no one food/supplement/pill leads to weight loss - it's a lifestyle change achieved through hard work and consistency.
