Is the Kroger Low-fat Yogurt Healthy?

I saw it has a fair amount of sugar, but only 8 grams of it are added. Is this a healthy option?

Individual foods are neither healthy nor unhealthy. You have to look at your overall diet and see whether it fits into your desired calories/macros.9

@malibu927 is right on. Let me also say that I eat some yogurt daily and can easily hit a balanced macro split. I also feel that yogurt helps my digestion. (It's funny, I'm not crazy about the flavor as I don't sweeten it, but it always feels good in the stomach. I often eat a couple of tablespoons as a topping on hot oatmeal made with milk, berries, and nuts.)0

I love yogurt, I love low fat yogurt, I'm biased so yes it's great.1

The only reason anyone would say it isn't healthy is the amount of sugar or that it's dairy. If dairy doesn't bother you then you probably aren't asking for that reason. Sugar is the knock on flavored yogurts like that one. 18 grams of sugar is kind of a lot for something that probably doesn't seem like a sweet treat.
I greatly prefer plain yogurt with berries added. I buy frozen berries so they are always available and are much cheaper than fresh. I prefer getting sugar from things that feel more like sweet treats.
As others have said, it is food. If you enjoy it and it fits in your daily calories it is probably fine. There are better choices but you can't ONLY eat the absolute healthiest foods all day long without driving yourself crazy.3 -
It's not unhealthy. If you want less sugar or calories Kroger has artificially sweetened yogurts.0

It's not inherently healthy or unhealthy...you can't really talk about healthful eating in a vacuum...you have to look at things in the context of your diet as a whole.
Sugar in and of itself isn't unhealthy...consuming an excessive amount of sugar on a consistent and regular basis is unhealthy.1 -

OP said 10 of the sugar grams are inherent, 8 added. I'm guessing that's based on comparing to plain yogurt of the same brand?
My plain Greek yogurt, Kroger's Simple Truth Organic brand, ingredients "cultured pasteurized organic grade A nonfat milk", has 7 grams of sugar per cup, and the cow added all of it.
Like you, I prefer to use plain yogurt, but 8g added sugar is no big deal as long as the totality of one's day doesn't have so much added sugar that it drives out other essential nutrition.1 -
The sugar in plain dairy is lactose. Some people think it is quite good for you within a good diet and assuming you aren't intolerant.
