Get a pedometer and list it as walking. It's a slippery slope toward daily activity logging, though.

I don't know, clothes shopping when trying on (and consequently taking off) clothes can be quite a workout too.

I'm sure it's right beside riding a motorcycle, ironing and breathing.

If you're like me, you don't spend much time standing around. I'm an impatient shopper.. I get in, get what I want and then spend the rest of my time waiting for others so I do laps around the store :P

You'd have to be incredibly out of shape to work up a sweat shopping. If you do then count is as vigorous walking or something

Why isn't shopping mentioned in the exercise section? Because unless you're in a race for a gold medal which consists of rushing through every store a shopping mall in under 10 minutes, it's not really exercise is it?

There's a perfectly good "walking" option in the exercise database: use it.

Is it just me or are some users taking this post too seriously? It's posted under "Chit-Chat, Fun, and Games", not "Fitness and Exercise".
