Silly newbie question about toning my body

8 weeks ago I had a esophagus surgery that had the lovely side effect of melting 25lbs from me!
So now....what do I do with this jiggly stuff?
I don’t yet have the endurance to do a whole beach body workout or other 20-30 min workout...is it possible to tone up all my jiggly bits if I do workouts in 10 minute increments, but do them twice or three times a day instead of all at once?
I’m heading on winter vacation in 30 days and while I’m not unrealistic about being some bikini babe in one month, will I see any results with 10 minute intervals?
(Yes, I’ve been cleared by the surgeon for exercise, and my endurance is so low because my esophagus is still irritated so I can’t consume a normal diet)

Activity is activity regardless of when it is done. If you can get your HR up and keep moving throughout the day, that's awesome, do what you can! Anything is better than nothing, and all of it will benefit you better than not doing it2

If by “jiggly stuff” you mean extra skin, the only thing you can realistically do is continue working out, drinking plenty of water, and being patient. It probably won’t be gone in 30 days, you’re looking at months, possibly years, if at all.
But if you mean you have no muscle tone, then again keep working out, your endurance will increase with time and effort. Start with 10 minutes at a time, then when you feel like you can handle that, go up to 15 minutes. Walking is a great way to build up stamina. Walk for 30 minutes a day for awhile instead of doing a video, slowly increasing your pace every few days. Those beachbody workouts can be a tough way to start out, especially if you’re in a calorie deficit, and just starting out. Were you very active before your surgery?3 -
If you can't consume a normal diet, I wouldn't be trying to do intensive workouts...5

workouts in 10 minute increments are great. Do what you can, if you start to feel like you aren't nourished enough, maybe you can add a protein or gainer shake if your throat will allow. If you've been cleared for exercise, check out some full body routines like strong curves, or new rules of lifting or strong lifts. Jiggly bits from weight loss take time for your skin to tighten, if it ever does tighten. but an exercise program will still make you feel great .2

When you first lose weight, your skin can seem kind if jiggly because it's a little stretched out and hasn't tightened up to your new shape yet. You probably also have more fat to lose, which is also soft and not being held as tightly with the looser skin situation. My suggestion would be to start strength training. Muscle is tighter and shapelier than fat. As you build up your endurance, you can also add in some cardio. Your skin will tighten up with time, depending on your age and how much you lose. Good luck.3

Strength train with proper muscle stimulas while eating in a slight deficit with adequate protien.0

Do you have access to a gym? If not could you pick up some dumbbells ?

Truth: I’ve tried the gym thing, with an open mind and much effort.
It’s just not my thing. I do enjoy yoga though. It seems a better fit.
I do have hand weights though and a really great treadmill....
I guess I was just wondering how long it would take to actually see and feel a difference in my body?

We can't answer your question unfortuately.0 -
If the jiggly bits are fat, being in a deficit will help you lose those and look more "toned".0
