Once more into the breach

Hi. New to MFP, but not to this game lol. Ran a marathon in 2015. Suffered multiple pulmonary embolisms that put me on the bench for 3 years. Now...older and 50#'s heavier, I'm feeling my stride again. I am training for 3 marathons this year (to make up for my absence). I used the Live-strong MyPlate in the past, but MFP blows that away--especially when linked to my Polar M400. I am able to dial in my consumption/burning and my MACROS are always on point. Weight loss is not a problem. It is basic science/math. If we do the math and get off our *kitten* and move, the laws of physics are ever in our favor. I am down 15#'s already this year, but have now worries about rapid loss or keeping it off, as the training schedule I have for this year is epic! (Sorry for being so verbose, I just got my first REAL conditioning run in today!) -JOHN
