Hi! I was incredibly healthy, vibrant and at my goal weight 2.5 years ago when tragedy and sudden illness hit me like a train. Physically, I have recovered to the extent that I can, though I have an autoimmune disease that will never officially be “cured”. Emotionally, I am still healing and relearning simple things like believing the world is a good place and that I am safe. I had 1/2 my thyroid removed a year ago, so my weight has become more of a challenge. I’m about to hit 150, which is about 20lbs up from my “happy” weight. I wasn’t able to exercise for about a year, and now, I’m just plain out of shape. Looking for a few good friends who will let me peek at their diaries for inspiration! ;-)
