Softball season starts in about 4 months. How much body fat could one lose in that amount of time? Asking for a friend.

I'm thinking if you play softball having body fat is a prerequisite

Yea, obviously. But how much can I get rid of and still have some, is the question.

Seriously, in 4 months you could lose 16 lbs. But that depends on a bunch of stuff. It would be better to gain muscle then focus on fat lose.

Is it possible to get stronger and lose body fat at the same time?

Not knowing much about it, I'd say 1 softball could lose about 6 body fats in 4 months

I wouldn't shoot for any more than 1.5 pounds a week and that's pushing it. Youll lose a lot of muscle in the process. You should really try to drop a pound a week. So your looking at about 17 pounds while maintaining as much muscle mass as possible.

Is it not possible to gain muscle whilst losing body fat? I was watching a "perfect physique" documentary on Netflix and they were talking about how they have figured out how to gain muscle while losing body fat. They just didn't say how.
