So I update my weight in the check-in section of the site on a weekly basis. The other day I viewed my diet/fitness profile and saw that it had my correct current weight. However instead of clicking on another link, I clicked on Update My Profile. When I did this my calorie goal adjusted.

I was just curious how often you all adjust that since it can vary once you have lost some weight. Thanks

    Every 5-10 Lbs

    Every 10 pounds.

The best tool is your own personal results, though.

MyFitnessPal seriously underestimates my calories needed...so I set the goals manually based on my many years of tracking.

Same. Also, if you've tweaked your macro percentages, you'll have to go back and reset them after you update as they will revert to the default settings.
