New to MFP

Hi everyone. I'm new around here. My doctor recommended keeping a food diary to help control portion sizes/track calories and this is the place I found online. Recently had elevated glucose reading - so did my hubby - now we both need to make major dietary changes. Additionally, I am seriously overweight - I'm at my heaviest (260.5) and only 5'2" tall. I'm estimating if I could grow 2 feet taller my weight would be normal - LOL - but that's not realistic - so here I am with hopes of finding motivation and support as I start on this journey. I'm also female - almost 60.
