    I've experienced it in ways I get treated in public. One example doors being held open, when I was 50lbs heavier it didn't happen, it did prior when I was thin and it happened again (with frequency ) after I lost weight. The difference in customer service too was notable. It seems I can get what I want easier now with a nice tone and batting my lashes.

    Yes. People treat you better and I find that highly motivating to lose. It has big impact on job searches. Smokers and obese are the new "OK to discriminate" classes of people. Seems human nature, unfortunately, to want to look down on someone.
