Hi! I really really really think this is something you should go over with your OB. If you were overweight pre-pregnancy they might advise you to gain less than average, but I don’t think losing weight during pregnancy is usually recommended. Best wishes for a happy, healthy pregnancy!8

Depends what country you're in. If you're in the UK talk to your GP or midwife. They'll be able to advise you.

You don't want to lose weight during pregnancy but you can maintain for first two trimesters and then a small gain is required on final trimester. See your GP for advice.0

Not many people are recommended to lose weight during pregnancy. Speak to your doctor about your goals.1
