Looking for friends to keep me motivated - would love to be able to see your food diaries! I have gone up and down since I was a teenager, and started in earnest again at the start of the month because I am going on a big trip in August and I would like, for once in my adult life, to not be nervous when sitting down in my seat on an airplane.

I started at 330 and have lost 13 pounds so far. I am hoping to be around 270 by August. What's been working for me so far is not beating myself up if I grab something from a drive through once a week (I work full time and am getting my Masters, it gets a little crazy sometimes) - it's been keeping me grounded and seeing the scales continue to drop even though I'm "cheating" means it doesn't feel like cheating to me when I do it. I weigh in every Monday!

    I have my diary set to public. If you read it you will not find a perfect person or perfect meal....LOL....I am not big on fruits and veggies so I am just trying to cut back on portions and make better snack choices. I'm not making anything off limits; if I want it I eat it and I track it; good or bad. My highest weight was 302 lbs. and I have hovered in the 290's for a long time so I am trying my best to get down as much as I can by September when I turn 50 and have to get my drivers license redone...LOL...     My diary is set for myself and friends to look at. God know's I'm not perfect!!!!!!! I just turn 40 back in January. I was Time for a change and get my butt back in gear. You can add me as a friend and we can keep each other motivated. And cheer each other on.
