Here I go again...

Hey everyone. Looking for some friends and encouragement for my new healthy lifestyle journey. I used to be in shape, active, healthy. However the past few years my father passed away, I became a single mom and started working on my doctorate. With all the stress I have neglected taking care of myself and it shows physically and I feel it mentally. I know getting healthy will not only help me lose weight and tone up but will help me feel less depressed. I'm currently 5'9" and am looking to lose about 40 pounds. I know it won't happen overnight and just need to take it one day at a time. Looking for friends, support or "companionship" along the way. Here's to positive thoughts and wishing everyone the best on their own journey.
