Was given this site by my daughter and she herself joined recently. I just found out that I now have HBP and possibly diabetes. I was dumbstruck! I guess I should have expected it with the way my wt has gone out of control. I see many here on this site who are very positive and I need all I can get of that type of help. And thank you to Mike who has created this very positive arena for those of us who have a difficult time. :wink:

    i'm sorry to hear about your health issues, but welcome to the site! you've found a really great community to get involved in. how old is your daughter? she might be right around my age. if it's any consolation, my mom was a borderline diabetic for a little while, but was able to reverse problems with diet and exercise and was never given the diabetes diagnosis! she's never had any problems since!
