Health scare motivation

Hi all, I’ve been an on and off (more off then on) user of MFP and I love the app. The tracking of caloric intake is the core of any diet program. I lost a lot of weight before with this app but, unfortunately I gained it all back and then some. Typical story for weight loss yo-yo’s.

I recently had a mild health scare while relaxing at home. My blood pressure spiked while I was just sitting at home. I’ve had some spikes before but they were usually physical strain or stress related. This time I was just sitting at home. No bueno. That’s it, I’m done! I’ve enjoyed carrying around this beer and unhealthy food for years around my waist and it is time for it to go.

My bride, equally concerned, wants us to enjoy a long and happy life together and so do I. So, 125lbs is going out the door.
