Strava Sync

Hi, I’m new here. I have just completed a bike ride which was uploaded on Strava. After uploading MFP I successfully connected to Strava but my exercise hasn’t pulled through. I have tried syncing to no avail. How do you get the Strava data to pull through?
Thanks in anticipation and apologies if this has already been addressed in previous posts. I did do a generic forum search for ‘Strava’ and millions of hits came up so thought it would be quicker ask the question.
