Lost weight doing fitness pal last year living in Spain I felt fantastic was so healthy eating lots of fruit,veg,fish meat plus a small treat everyday, I also joined 3 walking clubs and some days done over 20,000 steps I felt alive and happy. Came back to U.K. 18th Dec 2018 and put on 17lb feel low no self asteem,weather depressing haven't wanted to go out and basically just eating to feel happy but it never lasts. So thought I'd share my story to see if I could get some friends,tips,advise. I'm starting afresh today plus I'm going back to Spain in a couple off weeks so really want to get back to normal

I returned to the UK from overseas a couple of years ago (since moved again but to Ireland, equally dreary weather) and had a fairly similar story, the UK although colder has some equally fantastic places to hike and stunning scenery - it's not all doom and gloom. Try a Vitamin D supplement too, you may just be feeling the winter blues more because of the change of climate.
Focus on your food intake, weight loss happens in the kitchen.

Sorry guys just seen your replies. Been back in Spain nowa week and have lost 31/2 so far, i want to lose another 23lb. Iv just signed up for the 10,000 steps a day for March so that will ease me back into the walking0
