Because I can't stomach the news and talk radio anymore, I've started listening to podcasts on my commute and I'm hooked.

So far my faves have been Dirty John, S Town, Heavyweights, Missing Richard Simmons, Heavens Gate.

Do you have a favorite to recommend?

Seems like you’re into crime type stuff - so hands down, My Favorite Murder! The ladies are hilarious (while also being respectful to victims, which is a tough line to walk) and the community of fans is incredible. I actually just went to one of their live shows last week and it blew my mind!

I have also heard that Last Podcast on the Left is good, although I haven’t listened to it myself.

I second No Such Thing as a Fish and Stuff You Should Know.

Also, Sawbones, Serial (if you're into that), The Adventure Zone, and The Mental Health Happiness Hour (mentalpod).

They’re not favorites but Snapjudgement or Storycorps

I catch Storycorp on NPR on Fridays and it makes me sob EVERY TIME! Goodbye workday makeup!

I have heard a few of those and I agree - good stuff. I love those girls.

I love Radiolab and StarTalk (Neil deGrasse Tyson's show).

My favorite NPR quiz show is "Ask Me Another" (word games)
